Claudia Jane's Resume I’m really good at sorting through jumbled opinions and facts and presenting them sincerely and reliably in a verbal way. I can quickly put the little pieces of life together and see the big picture. Though writing comes naturally to me, I specialize in collecting information, developing creative ideas, making meaningful connections with readers, and strategizing story placements. I like to work with people who care about what they do, but who may not be able to describe their work in a way that others will understand. My greatest strength is turning ideas and perceptions into solid, smart, and positive action. I have a strong, patient, collaborative, and motivating work style. I bring enthusiasm and experiences as a former wildland firefighter, national park ranger, news reporter, and editor, to my work. I graduated from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota with a double major in English (Creative Writing) and Environmental Studies (Biology), and have won awards from the Inland Press Association and the Wisconsin Newspaper Association for my writing and photography.
